I have a few cooking books, but since I want to explore Portuguese cooking I will look for recipes in the only Portuguese book that I own (for now):
“O livro de Pantagruel” has 5000 recipes. The first edition came out in 1946 with only 1500 recipes. It is now on the 74th edition retaining the same structure and the same quality recipes. No photos or extensive explanations. The cake recipes don’t even have a baking temperature, only an interval from which you can choose the temperature that works best for you oven. Accidents can and will happen. :) I will also share recipes that Portuguese families eat regularly, which I might have learned from a family member or a friend.
